PHOENIX (AP) — An investigation into whether a Glendale police officer had sex with a female co-worker while on duty has led to two resignations.
According to an internal-investigation report, the officer at the center of the investigation is accused of having sex with the woman at her home three to five times while on patrol last year.
Adam Fisher and another officer from his squad — Daniel Arreola — also are accused of turning in fraudulent time sheets and sending sexually and racially offensive messages to other officers.
The two 27-year-old officers were found to have received thousands of dollars of unearned pay for claiming days and hours they did not work.
Both Fisher and Arreola resigned after Glendale Police Chief Steve Conrad placed them on administrative leave in the summer and notified the officers of his intent to fire them.
