Diedre Hunter, Ph.D., from Lowell Observatory, gives a presentation about the telescopes used to create the image of the center of the Milky Way Galaxy, image at right. The mural-sized images will be on display for the next year at the Flagstaff Public Library main branch. They were created by overlaying pictures taken from three separate orbiting telescopes.
