Elections Office advises voters to go to polls early
To avoid lines at the polls on Election Day, the Coconino County Elections Office is encouraging voters to vote early at the Elections Office or at one of several satellite locations around the county.
Early voting is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) at the following locations: Coconino County Elections, 110 E. Cherry Ave., Flagstaff
Grand Canyon School District Office (Monday-Thursday), 1 Boulder St.
Page City Hall, 697 Vista Ave.
Williams City Hall, 113 S. First St.
Fredonia Town Hall, 25 N. Main St.
Coconino County Elections Office, Tuba City/Basement of Tuba City Library
Sedona City Clerk, 102 Roadrunner Drive
From today through Oct. 24, voters can also request their ballots be mailed to them at home, by calling the Elections Office at 779-6589 or submitting a request online at www.coconino.az.gov/elections, by clicking on the "early ballot request" link.
New this year, voters also have the option of signing up to be on the Permanent Early Voter list. If a voter chooses to participate in this program, an early voting ballot for every election in which they are eligible to vote will be sent to the voter without having to request an early ballot for each election. A voter must request in writing to be added to this list.
Voters who have illness or physical disability may also request special assistance in voting from the Elections Office, by calling 779-6589 by Oct. 24.
