No major fires near Flagstaff
Flagstaff saw smoke Tuesday from other fires in Tusayan, near Kingman and possibly the Village of Oak Creek, but no new fires were reported in the Coconino or Kaibab forests.
"The smoke seems to come from all the existing fires that we all know about," Kaibab information officer Jackie Denk said. That could change today. The National Weather Service station in Bellemont was forecasting a 10 percent chance of lightning strikes for Tuesday night.
